This full-time, contract opportunity begins August 31, 2026, and continues through June 4, 2027, offering the chance to contribute to students’ growth throughout the academic year. The position provides flexibility for both full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time candidates, allowing you to tailor your schedule while having direct, onsite impact within a collaborative school environment near Canton, MI.

Key Requirements:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan
  • Previous SLP experience in a school setting (no Clinical Fellows at this time)
  • Comfortable with K-12 caseloads, adapting support across elementary, middle, and high school age groups
  • Strong collaboration skills with educators, special education teams, and families
  • Must be able to work onsite (remote/virtual work is not an option for this role)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing individualized plans, and documenting progress efficiently
  • Collaborate with special education teachers and classroom staff to create supportive, inclusive learning environments
  • Engage families and participate in IEP meetings to review goals and progress
  • Maintain compliance with state and district regulations while tracking student outcomes
