Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Eligibility for Michigan SLP licensure
  • Demonstrated experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong commitment to student development and individualized support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide ongoing speech-language therapy for students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
  • Consult with classroom teachers and educational staff to support integration of therapy goals
  • Engage in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and collaboration with other professionals
  • Manage caseload responsibilities, which may include serving students across multiple buildings or within a functional intensive support classroom
