This contract position is perfect for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), who is ready to use their expertise to foster communication skills and empower young learners.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist and current CCC-SLP credential
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Comfortable utilizing various assessment tools and therapy techniques

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Provide targeted speech and language therapy sessions, both individual and group
  • Maintain detailed progress notes and data tracking to measure student outcomes
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide holistic support to students
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff consultations
  • Adapt therapy materials and approaches to support diverse learners and abilities
