Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- School-based SLP experience preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are welcome
- Excellent communication abilities to interact with students, families, and staff
- Ability to perform both individual and group therapy sessions
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services tailored to students’ individual education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths and areas of need
- Develop and implement intervention strategies that foster student growth
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support each student’s educational journey
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure compliance with state and district requirements
- Consult and participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development and monitoring of IEP goals
- Utilize creative and engaging approaches to maximize student progress
