School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Canton, Ohio

Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) ready to make a meaningful impact in a school setting near Canton, OH. This contract position offers the chance to work closely with preschool and elementary-aged children and is ideal for professionals who value flexibility, collaboration, and the reward of fostering student growth.

Two positions are open:

• Preschool SLP: Provide 4-5 days of coverage weekly, with one dedicated day for evaluations and 3 days for classroom therapy in the preschool setting.
• Preschool & Elementary SLP: Focus exclusively on therapy services (no evaluation required) for both preschool and elementary students.

Candidates will have the ability to coordinate their schedule at specific schools, promoting an adaptable and supportive work environment. This is an on-site position—no VOCO/virtual therapy options are available.

Qualifications:

• Active SLP-CCC license
• Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
• Confidence in conducting speech/language evaluations and providing therapy (as applicable)
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to foster positive relationships with young learners, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to preschool and elementary students
• Conduct thorough evaluations (for the preschool evaluation day role)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to maximize student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and regulatory requirements
