A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the contract school year term, starting in January and concluding at the end of the school year. This position serves students across K-12 in one high school and one small elementary school, providing comprehensive speech and language support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in school settings, preferably in both elementary and high school environments
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is desirable
- Background in pediatric speech-language pathology
- Knowledge of school-based therapy protocols and healthcare regulations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
