Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid California state license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability for both onsite and potential hybrid environments
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with interdisciplinary teams, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with teachers and special education staff
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Deliver services aligned with school guidelines and evidence-based practices
  • Engage in consultation and training for teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Support a diverse caseload spanning various grade levels and communication challenges

This contract assignment begins August 10, 2026 and extends through June 3, 2027, offering the chance to build relationships and see your impact over a full academic year. You’ll play an integral part in a supportive educational community while gaining valuable professional experience.
