This contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate Speech Language Pathologist ready to start as soon as possible and continue supporting students through the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 school years. With a full-time schedule spanning the academic year and extended summer session, you’ll work with a diverse caseload across two school sites near Canyon Country, CA.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid and active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- California Speech-Language Pathology license
- Experience in pediatric settings, specifically within school environments
- Background working with mild articulation challenges, mild-to-moderate language disabilities, and students utilizing AAC devices
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Role Highlights:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to TK-6th grade students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals and student needs
- Address a variety of communication needs, from mild articulation to AAC integration
- Collaborate with educational teams across two school sites
- Complete assessments, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Serve students both during the traditional academic year and summer session for comprehensive support
