Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Canyon Country, California

Make a difference in the lives of TK-6th grade students by providing high-quality speech and language services in a supportive school environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate Speech Language Pathologist ready to start as soon as possible and continue supporting students through the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 school years. With a full-time schedule spanning the academic year and extended summer session, you’ll work with a diverse caseload across two school sites near Canyon Country, CA.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid and active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• California Speech-Language Pathology license
• Experience in pediatric settings, specifically within school environments
• Background working with mild articulation challenges, mild-to-moderate language disabilities, and students utilizing AAC devices
• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with teachers, staff, and families

Role Highlights:

• Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to TK-6th grade students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals and student needs
• Address a variety of communication needs, from mild articulation to AAC integration
• Collaborate with educational teams across two school sites

• Serve students both during the traditional academic year and summer session for comprehensive support
