Make a positive impact in the educational community by supporting students’ communication needs across multiple school settings in the Fort Myers area. As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll collaborate closely with educators and families while helping students reach their greatest potential.

Your assignment spans from August 11, 2026, to May 27, 2027, with full-time and part-time opportunities across elementary, middle, and high school campuses. Each site offers varying caseloads and age groups, and on-site attendance is required.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Florida SLP license and/or valid Florida teacher certification
  • Ability to complete fingerprinting and credentialing requirements per Florida state standards (including JLA badge process and AHCA Clearinghouse checks, where applicable)
  • Experience in school-based settings is highly valued
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, evaluate, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reports in a timely manner
  • Adapt clinical skills to diverse student populations and caseloads
  • Travel between assigned campuses as needed
