Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida Department of Health SLP license and/or Florida teacher certification
- Experience in school-based SLP settings preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with students from varied backgrounds and across multiple locations
- Willingness to travel between assigned schools if needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students (caseload varies by school assignment, age ranges from elementary to high school)
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, progress, and compliance requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure all credentialing and background standards are met, including fingerprint clearance and district badge requirements
