Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Florida Department of Health SLP license and/or Florida teacher certification
• Experience in school-based SLP settings preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with students from varied backgrounds and across multiple locations
• Willingness to travel between assigned schools if needed

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students (caseload varies by school assignment, age ranges from elementary to high school)
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support students’ academic and social success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, progress, and compliance requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure all credentialing and background standards are met, including fingerprint clearance and district badge requirements
