Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students across multiple school campuses near Cape Coral, FL. Set within a collaborative educational environment, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication skills and academic success of children and adolescents. This opportunity spans from August 11, 2026, to May 27, 2027, with full-time schedules available (up to 37.5 hours/week) and the flexibility to discuss part-time options. Assignments can be combined across multiple sites to build a full-time equivalent role, offering variety and professional growth throughout the school year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active FL Department of Health SLP license
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to adapt to varied caseloads by campus and age group
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be comfortable working on-site, as remote/VOCO is not available
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students aged PreK–12
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, parents, and support staff
- Track student progress and maintain accurate, timely records
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech and language development
- Rotate among designated school sites as assigned, supporting diverse student populations
