A school-based position is available in Cape Coral, FL for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) interested in making a positive impact on students’ communication abilities. This contract role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time opportunities and openings across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans geared toward improving communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Track and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Provide support and education on communication strategies for students, families, and staff
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development milestones and disorders
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
