Exciting contract opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and experienced SLPAs in various school settings nearby. Positions are full-time (35 hours per week) within Early Childhood programs, with anticipated start dates for the 2026-2027 academic year. Openings are offered in Harrisburg, Perry County, and Upper Dauphin areas, supporting students with a caseload of approximately 45.
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs is required
- Will also consider skilled and experienced SLPAs
- State licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as a Speech-Language Pathologist or SLPA
- Background in Early Childhood or preschool speech services is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal skills and passion for making a difference in students’ lives
- Ability to manage a moderate caseload
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not mandatory
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for early learners
- Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to support student growth
- Maintain consistent documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning
- Foster an encouraging, inclusive environment for all students
