Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication and language development by providing speech-language therapy services in a school-based setting. As a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working on a contract basis, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to help children reach their full potential in and out of the classroom.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license or the ability to obtain prior to the assignment
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY applicants welcome
- Experience delivering services in K-12 school settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with IEP processes and progress reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, develop and implement intervention plans, and deliver direct therapy tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to support students’ academic and social communication skills
- Monitor, document, and communicate student progress toward IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member, sharing expertise and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and school requirements
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for every student
