School Speech Language Pathologist - Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current and valid state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
• Previous experience working with school-aged children or in an educational setting beneficial
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with educators, families, and students
• Ability to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students of various ages
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to support each student’s goals
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to foster supportive learning environments
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and therapy outcomes
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, targeting expressive/receptive language, speech sound disorders, fluency, and social communication as needed
