Job Type Contract

Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication and language development by providing speech-language therapy services in a school-based setting. As a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working on a contract basis, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to help children reach their full potential in and out of the classroom.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state SLP license or the ability to obtain prior to the assignment
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY applicants welcome
  • Experience delivering services in K-12 school settings is highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and progress reporting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, develop and implement intervention plans, and deliver direct therapy tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to support students’ academic and social communication skills
  • Monitor, document, and communicate student progress toward IEP goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member, sharing expertise and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and school requirements
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for every student
