School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Carlsbad, California

We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide full-time support throughout the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position begins as soon as possible and offers the chance to collaborate with students, staff, and families in a dynamic school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current California SLP license or eligibility to obtain one before the contract start
• Prior experience in schools or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and implement personalized therapy plans
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct evaluations, monitor progress, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer input on therapy and educational planning
• Provide therapy in individual and group settings, adapting interventions as needed
• Contribute to a positive and encouraging school culture

This full-time contract position features a regular Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., totaling 35 hours per week. Compensation is highly competitive, with hourly rates between $50 and $65, dependent on experience.
