Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct intervention and therapy to students with varying disorders and challenges
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and session notes
- Consult with teachers, special education staff, and families to coordinate care
- Participate in team meetings, staff development, and collaboration activities
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment to encourage student success
