What you’ll bring:
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of evaluation and assessment procedures
- Ability to supervise and mentor an SLP Assistant
- Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and meetings
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and professionalism in working with students, staff, and families
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing onsite supervision for an SLP Assistant one day per week
- Completing evaluations and re-evaluations for students during onsite visits
- Leading and participating in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and collaboration
- Consulting with teachers and administrators as needed to support student outcomes
- Maintaining thorough and timely documentation of services and supervision activities
- Adhering to all relevant ethical and legal standards in school-based practice
