Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the vibrant Carmel, IN area! This contract opportunity offers both full-time and part-time (2.5 days per week) schedules, providing a chance to support K-12th grade learners in their speech and communication goals.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and fellow professionals to deliver high-quality speech and language services, contribute to individualized education plans, and help students gain confidence in their abilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Indiana (or eligibility)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFY considered)
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, especially with K-12th grade students, is highly valued
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy and assessment services to students with speech/language needs
  • Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student goals
  • Collaborate on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend relevant meetings
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports according to school guidelines
  • Engage parents, teachers, and other support staff to foster student progress
  • Adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse learning and communication needs
