A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is sought to support a busy school setting in Carpinteria, CA. This contract opportunity runs through the end of the school year (EOSY), with potential for extension, providing a chance to make a meaningful impact on student services during a time of high demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compensatory speech-language therapy services tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized plans.
  • Utilize expertise in pediatric and school-based speech therapy to support communication development.
  • Provide teletherapy services if applicable, ensuring access and continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLP or relevant credentials for SLPA.
  • Experience in pediatric healthcare, school-based speech therapy, or teletherapy.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred for SLP candidates.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic school environment.
  • Licensed and qualified to provide speech-language services in the state.
