This full-time, contract-based position extends through the end of the school year, with real potential for continuation. As part of this role, you’ll be instrumental in delivering compensatory speech services, providing much-needed support to students whose services have been delayed and helping the team get current on caseloads.

Utilize your skills in school-based and healthcare settings as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), or leverage your teletherapy expertise to meet the evolving needs of students. Ideal Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as an SLP, SLP-CFY, or SLPA (state requirements must be met)
  • Background in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare speech therapy
  • Experience or strong interest in compensatory services and working with students who have fallen behind
  • Comfortable with teletherapy platforms (if remote support is needed)
  • Collaborative spirit and excellent communication with staff, families, and administration
  • Ability to manage time well to address backlogged student cases
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and deliver compensatory speech/language services for a backlog of student needs
  • Implement therapy tailored to individual student goals within a school framework
  • Complete evaluations, progress reports, and maintain compliance documentation
  • Consult and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and other therapists
  • Participate in virtual or on-site IEP meetings as appropriate
