Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) supporting students across four schools, each within a short distance of one another. This position is available for the upcoming school year, stepping in to provide essential services after the departure of a veteran SLP. With a manageable assignment of 30 hours per week, spread over Tuesday through Thursday, you’ll have an impactful schedule that also supports your work-life balance.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently across multiple campuses

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload, supporting students’ communication needs
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Travel between four closely located schools (all within 8 miles)
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
  • Assess students, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy tailored to individual needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
  • Offer consultation and resources to staff and families as needed
