Your expertise in speech-language pathology, particularly within schools and pediatric healthcare, will be integral to fostering communication growth among approximately 32 early childhood students. Enjoy a consistent four-day workweek, with each day spanning 6.5 hours and a potential half-day on Wednesdays, allowing for work-life balance and flexibility.
Key qualifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellowship (CFY), or eligible SLPA credentials
- Experience or comfort working in school-based and/or pediatric healthcare settings
- Ability to provide or receive supervision as needed (SLPA may require SLP supervision)
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal communication skills
- Commitment to personalized, evidence-based interventions for students
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to early childhood (EC) students on your caseload (~32)
- Collaborate closely with an on-site SLPA and school staff to support students’ IEP goals
- Evaluate, assess, and document progress in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide guidance and, if appropriate, direct supervision to SLPA colleagues
- Engage with families and educational teams to support student progress
