Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid SLP license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates with CCC are encouraged to apply
- Strong assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across diverse age groups
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in group formats
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and advocating for appropriate services
- Maintain thorough, accurate records in compliance with state, federal, and district regulations
