Key qualifications and desired skills:

  • Active Speech Language Pathology license
  • Experience working with school-age populations (Pre K–12th Grade)
  • Proficiency in documenting services using Paddynet or similar platforms
  • Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads (45–55 students)
  • Effective, professional communication with parents, teachers, staff, and administrators (via email, phone, progress reports, and school systems)
  • Comfort scheduling and coordinating meetings using Google Calendar, especially IEP meetings and parent conferences
  • Skilled in evaluations, eligibility determinations, IEPs, and data reviews

Primary responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy onsite, tailoring services to a range of student needs
  • Provide compensatory services (if applicable), traveling between school sites until all service requirements are fulfilled
  • Document all services, progress, and evaluations promptly and accurately in Paddynet
  • Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement IEPs, track student goals, and maintain compliance
  • Build positive relationships with families and school personnel to foster student success
  • Summer service commitments may be required for some roles (June 1 through June 30)
