6th Grade 8th Grade School Speech Language Pathologist - Cartersville, Georgia

Exciting contract opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about providing high-quality services to students from Pre K through 12th grade.

There are a variety of roles tailored to your interests and expertise:

• Compensatory services role: Deliver onsite speech therapy across multiple school locations, serving students at all grade levels. Manage a manageable caseload as you respond to compensatory service needs, with travel between sites and a focused summer schedule (June 1-30).
• Elementary school positions: Work closely with Pre K to 5th or 6th grade students at a single campus with a caseload of 45-55. Document interventions using the Paddynet platform while collaborating with families and teachers.
• Middle school positions: Support grades 6-8 onsite, managing a caseload of 45-55. Maintain detailed documentation and participate in key meetings and conferences.

Desired background and abilities:

• Experience as a school-based SLP across elementary or middle school levels
• Proficiency in documenting services and creating IEPs, evaluations, and data reviews
• Confidence using platforms such as Paddynet and Google Calendar for scheduling and recordkeeping
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interactions with staff, parents, and administrators
• Comfort adapting to new environments or campuses as needed (for compensatory roles)
• Organization in managing caseloads and meetings, including parent conferences and IEPs
