Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) contract positions are available supporting vibrant school communities. Each role allows you to help students excel by providing impactful speech and language services.
One SLP will work with K-12 students in a specialized public school setting with a manageable caseload of about 35 students, allowing for individualized care and creative approaches. The second SLP will serve an elementary school (grades K-5) with an engaging caseload of approximately 50 young learners. Both locations offer the rewarding chance to collaborate closely with school teams, families, and other specialists.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license for North Carolina or eligibility to obtain one before start date
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but strong clinical SLPs will be considered
- Comfortable managing a caseload and developing individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Effective communicator with students, teachers, and families
- Passionate about supporting children’s growth in speech and language skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each student
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families for student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Provide direct therapy and support to students in individual and small group settings
- Engage in ongoing professional learning and training activities
