Step into a dynamic and rewarding role supporting students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity is based on-site near Cary, NC, and is perfect for professionals passionate about fostering communication skills in a school setting.

With full-time hours available, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and your multidisciplinary peers, ensuring each student's unique needs are met. Caseload details including the age range and the number of school sites will be determined closer to start, offering you the flexibility to bring your expertise to where it’s needed most.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active professional license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid educator certificate (or eligibility for state certification)
  • Experience in schools preferred, but new graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year are welcome—supervision will be provided
  • Strong communication, organizational, and team-based collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to evolving student and district needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct SLP services and interventions tailored to student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support IEP implementation and monitor student progress
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Engage in professional development and contribute to a positive school environment
