Elementary Certified School Speech Language Pathologist - Cary, North Carolina

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure/certification (North Carolina preferred)
• Experience providing services in educational environments
• Comfortable serving both elementary and high school students
• Skilled in one-to-one therapy and individualized learning plans
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate with school staff, parents, and students
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and provide direct therapy
• Work 1:1 with students to support their unique communication needs
• Consult with teachers and support staff to implement classroom strategies and accommodations
• Document progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in line with state and district requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
• Educate families and caregivers regarding speech and language development and strategies for continued growth at home
