Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid state certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience delivering services in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
  • Skilled in providing 1:1 speech and language therapy as well as group interventions
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to diverse student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and caregivers
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language services to students across K-12 settings
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with school procedures
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support educational goals and maximize student communication abilities
  • Participate in team meetings and IEP development, offering insights and expertise
  • Offer both 1:1 and small group therapy, adapting approaches to individual student needs
  • Maintain accurate records, meet compliance standards, and contribute to a positive school culture
