As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll play an integral role in fostering communication skills and academic success for students across a diverse array of needs. This position runs from July 21, 2026, through May 21, 2027, offering the chance to make a lasting impact over the course of the school year.
Your caseload will include elementary and middle-school-aged children, and you'll have the added benefit of working collaboratively with a dedicated SLPA for assistance with service delivery.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility
- CCC-SLP or CFY-SLP credentials
- Experience or strong interest in school-based therapy for K-8 populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse learning styles and needs
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and educational collaboration
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student IEPs
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups
- Work closely with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation of sessions, assessments, and progress reports
- Supervise and collaborate with an on-site SLPA for optimal service delivery
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
