School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Cascade, Colorado

Step into a rewarding full-time contract role for the 2026-2027 school year providing expert support to elementary students as a Speech Language Pathologist. In this position, you’ll make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners—kindergarten through fifth grade—by addressing a range of communication needs.

Work with a diverse caseload where students present with varying degrees of articulation difficulties, receptive and expressive language disorders, fluency challenges, social-pragmatic impairments, and require AAC high tech device assistance. Each day brings the opportunity to collaborate with educators, caregivers, and a supportive interdisciplinary team to drive student progress and achieve individualized goals.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• SLP - CCC certification required
• Experience with elementary-aged students preferred
• Skilled in treating articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic disorders
• Familiarity with AAC high tech device implementation
• Comfortable managing a caseload with a wide range of severity
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse student population
• Deliver direct therapy services, tracking student outcomes and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student IEPs
• Provide consultation and training to staff regarding communication needs and technology
• Maintain compliant documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Adjust interventions based on ongoing evaluation and student response
