Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Demonstrated experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings
- Strong background conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct therapy for school-aged children
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, educators, and families
- Knowledge and application of evidence-based practices in speech and language interventions
- Passion for supporting student growth and a commitment to inclusive, student-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs among K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique strengths and challenges
- Deliver group and one-on-one therapy sessions in accordance with state and federal educational guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to facilitate generalization of skills across educational settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring
- Act as a resource for staff on strategies for promoting effective communication in the classroom
