Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, educators, and families
  • Knowledge and application of evidence-based practices in speech and language interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs among K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique strengths and challenges
  • Deliver group and one-on-one therapy sessions in accordance with state and federal educational guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to facilitate generalization of skills across educational settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring
  • Act as a resource for staff on strategies for promoting effective communication in the classroom
