What We're Looking For:
- Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist certification is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in educational settings with students differing in age and disability
- Familiarity with a broad range of speech, language, and communication disorders, from mild to severe
- Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication abilities
- Genuine commitment to fostering student academic and social success
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services across all grade levels
- Complete comprehensive assessments, develop IEP goals, and document student progress
- Tailor interventions to a diverse caseload, from mild articulation issues to complex communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate findings to families and staff
- Support implementation of assistive technology and language strategies in the classroom
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal special education guidelines
- Provide guidance to educators and families about speech-language supports
