This full-time, onsite contract position is designed for a dedicated SLP who will support elementary students—including those within a resource program and the RISE program for moderate disabilities—during a maternity leave from November 16th, 2026, through January 29th, 2027.

You’ll work closely with a caseload of approximately 50 students, making a difference in their speech, language, and communication abilities during this key period. If you’re passionate about helping students achieve their goals in a supportive school setting, this could be the perfect role for you.

Qualifications:

  • Current Washington (WA) SLP License
  • ESA certification required
  • SLP-CCC credential
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with elementary-aged children
  • Strong background serving students with moderate disabilities is highly valued

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in both resource and RISE programs
  • Complete assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to support student development
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise to educational teams
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district requirements
