The assignment begins August 5th and extends through May 23rd, with 7-hour workdays that allow for a balanced professional schedule.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in school settings, particularly with K-8 students, is highly valued
  • Knowledge of best practices for delivering effective speech and language therapy in educational environments
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage direct therapy, assessments, and case documentation
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-8 students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress
  • Manage case files, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success
