The assignment runs from August 5th through May 23rd, with standard 7-hour workdays.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current SLP licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in a school-based setting, preferably with K-8 students
- Strong understanding of IEP development, data collection, and progress monitoring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students on your caseload
- Conduct assessments to determine therapy needs and eligibility
- Develop, update, and manage IEPs and required documentation
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student outcomes
- Maintain organized records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Engage in collaborative problem-solving and participate in IEP meetings
