Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Castleberry, AL

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with K-8 students in a vibrant school environment. This full-time position calls for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy, assessments, and case management to a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students. The assignment runs from August 5th through May 23rd, with standard 7-hour workdays.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current SLP licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience in a school-based setting, preferably with K-8 students
• Strong understanding of IEP development, data collection, and progress monitoring
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students on your caseload
• Conduct assessments to determine therapy needs and eligibility
• Develop, update, and manage IEPs and required documentation
• Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student outcomes
• Maintain organized records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Engage in collaborative problem-solving and participate in IEP meetings
