In this contract position, you’ll support student growth and communication success in a vibrant school environment near Castleton, VT. This full-time role focuses on providing assessment, intervention, and counseling for a middle school caseload and offers the chance to make a lasting impact throughout the academic year.

What you’ll bring:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license (state requirements must be met for assignment location)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs

What you’ll do:

  • Provide direct, evidence-based speech and language therapy to middle school students
  • Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and develop personalized goals
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with all educational and legal requirements
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
  • Foster communication skills to promote inclusion and academic achievement
