Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language challenges
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each student’s needs
  • Lead engaging therapy sessions to promote growth in speech, language, and communication skills
  • Monitor student progress, carefully documenting achievements and updating plans as needed
  • Collaborate seamlessly with teachers, counselors, and other professionals for coordinated care
  • Involve and educate families throughout the therapy process to enhance support at home

Qualifications and skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution required
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure to practice speech-language pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to thrive independently and as part of a supportive team
