Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language challenges
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each student’s needs
- Lead engaging therapy sessions to promote growth in speech, language, and communication skills
- Monitor student progress, carefully documenting achievements and updating plans as needed
- Collaborate seamlessly with teachers, counselors, and other professionals for coordinated care
- Involve and educate families throughout the therapy process to enhance support at home
Qualifications and skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution required
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure to practice speech-language pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive independently and as part of a supportive team
