Qualifications and Desired Background:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
- Capacity for independent work and effective participation in a team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on student goals
- Provide therapy sessions to address targeted speech and language objectives
- Carefully track and document student progress and outcomes
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care and sharing expertise
- Involve and empower families throughout the treatment process through communication and education
