Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a school-based setting as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in the Cazenovia, NY area. Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or pending state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates considered
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based and pediatric speech therapy
  • Proficient in teletherapy platforms and in-person service delivery
  • Comfortable developing and implementing IEPs and progress reports
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, team-oriented approach to working with students and staff

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy sessions to students in compliance with IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, school support staff, and families to develop effective intervention strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and updates
  • Maintain detailed, organized records in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Provide support and mentoring to SLP Clinical Fellows as applicable
  • Offer services via teletherapy when needed, adapting materials and plans effectively
