Desired qualifications and skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP licensure in New York State (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
• Previous experience in school or pediatric settings highly valued
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms a plus
• Comfort working individually and within IEP (Individualized Education Program) teams
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for students with communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans focused on speech, language, articulation, voice, and fluency
• Collaborate closely with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student IEP goals
• Provide both in-person and remote therapy sessions as needed
• Maintain detailed progress notes, reports, and documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
• Participate in parent meetings, case conferences, and staff development activities
