Embark on an exceptional contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving students in a supportive educational setting near Cedar Hill, TX. With four full-time positions available, you'll provide meaningful speech and language services to elementary and high school students throughout the academic year (8/12/2026 - 5/26/2027). Your key qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience with school-aged populations, preferably in elementary or high school settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practice
Role responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive speech/language evaluations
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting speech and language needs
- Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Document progress and maintain detailed records per district and state standards
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to promote carryover of strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and case conferences as needed
- Support students in both elementary and high school environments (positions available for each level)
