Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Current or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but dedicated new graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to best support student success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide guidance and strategies for classroom staff to foster communication-friendly classroom environments
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
