Qualifications and Desired Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or pending state license (Georgia) required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred; candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
  • Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience valued
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and support
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development sessions
  • Adapt intervention strategies to diverse learning styles and abilities
