Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Active SLP state license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfort working with diverse student populations across various ages and needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for K-12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
- Provide direct and consultative services, both individually and in group settings
- Educate school staff and families about students’ communication needs and strategies for classroom success
