This full-time contract position serves PreK and kindergarten students, with a caseload of approximately 50. The assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through May 24, 2027, ensuring a stable and rewarding school year experience. This is an in-person position with no option for virtual service delivery.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Previous experience with early childhood or school-based populations, specifically PreK and K, highly valued
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Strong organizational abilities to manage a 50-student caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to PreK and kindergarten students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify speech or language needs
- Develop individualized therapy plans targeting speech and language goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
