Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP state license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff

Core Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to address students’ unique needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, communicate progress, and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Document student performance, maintain accurate records, and comply with district guidelines
  • Deliver therapy individually or in small groups within classroom or resource settings
  • Serve as a resource for teachers and parents regarding speech and language development
