Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children and pediatric populations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, current therapy techniques, and best practices for school-based interventions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Develop and participate in IEP meetings, providing input and status updates for team planning
  • Document progress, maintain thorough records, and communicate with families and staff
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions within the school environment
  • Engage in professional development to stay updated on best practices and compliance requirements
