Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) required
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in school-based speech therapy settings preferred
  • Comfortable collaborating with elementary-age students, educators, and families
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using approved evaluation methods
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to elementary school students
  • Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and district standards
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and support teams to foster student progress
  • Document session outcomes, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate and engage families about intervention strategies and progress updates
