Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLP-CCC licensure (ASHA Certification)
  • Current state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based therapy practices and IEP compliance

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment to students with a range of speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate, timely documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
  • Deliver therapy and interventions in both individual and group settings
  • Participate in parent meetings, eligibility evaluations, and IEP review sessions
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in school-based speech therapy
