Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
  • Successful experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Expertise in assessment, diagnostics, and intervention planning for students with speech and language needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics for students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address students’ speech, language, or communication challenges
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote students’ academic and social development
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing support strategies for students
