School Speech Language Pathologist - Centreville, Maryland

Make a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in a supportive school community. This contract opportunity runs from August 26, 2026, through June 11, 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour work week working directly onsite with K-12 students. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated staff, address immediate needs across a diverse caseload, and positively shape communication outcomes for students at several school sites in the area.

Qualifications:

• Current, active SLP license in Maryland required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Previous experience in Maryland schools preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable with itinerant travel between multiple school locations
• Ability to work with students with moderate to severe needs in self-contained environments

Responsibilities:

• Serve a K-12 caseload, providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services
• Fill spot needs across schools, including support for a high school self-contained classroom
• Adapt therapy and interventions to support students’ individual goals, particularly in moderate to severe settings
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress and compliance
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams including teachers, support staff, and families
• Travel onsite to various schools within the district as needed
