Qualifications & Preferred Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active CCC credentials
  • Valid and active Maryland SLP license required
  • Prior experience working within Maryland school systems highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of school-based treatment and IEP process
  • Ability to manage a varied K-12 caseload
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students across K-12 settings
  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement individualized therapy
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports
  • Engage caregivers and educators in the therapy process for optimal student outcomes
  • Adhere to state and federal guidelines, ensuring ethical and compliant service delivery
