Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active CCC credentials
- Valid and active Maryland SLP license required
- Prior experience working within Maryland school systems highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of school-based treatment and IEP process
- Ability to manage a varied K-12 caseload
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students across K-12 settings
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement individualized therapy
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports
- Engage caregivers and educators in the therapy process for optimal student outcomes
- Adhere to state and federal guidelines, ensuring ethical and compliant service delivery
