Make a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in a supportive school community. This contract opportunity runs from August 26, 2026, through June 11, 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour work week working directly onsite with K-12 students. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated staff, address immediate needs across a diverse caseload, and positively shape communication outcomes for students at several school sites in the area.
Qualifications:
- Current, active SLP license in Maryland required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in Maryland schools preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable with itinerant travel between multiple school locations
- Ability to work with students with moderate to severe needs in self-contained environments
Responsibilities:
- Serve a K-12 caseload, providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services
- Fill spot needs across schools, including support for a high school self-contained classroom
- Adapt therapy and interventions to support students’ individual goals, particularly in moderate to severe settings
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress and compliance
- Engage with interdisciplinary teams including teachers, support staff, and families
- Travel onsite to various schools within the district as needed
