Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are considered
  • Prior experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations of students referred for speech and language concerns
  • Develop and deliver therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs, in both individual and group settings
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Communicate progress with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure coordinated student support
  • Facilitate classroom-based interventions and support staff with strategies as needed
