Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are considered
- Prior experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations of students referred for speech and language concerns
- Develop and deliver therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs, in both individual and group settings
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Communicate progress with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure coordinated student support
- Facilitate classroom-based interventions and support staff with strategies as needed
