Shape the school year with your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with elementary students from PreK through 5th grade. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to deliver direct services—approximately 60 service hours monthly—while collaborating closely with engaged staff and families. Your impact will support students’ communication skills and help foster confident learners in a vibrant school environment. The assignment runs from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027 with a steady 35-hour-per-week schedule, based primarily onsite. While on-campus support is preferred, experienced teletherapy practitioners will be considered.

What we’re seeking:

  • Current, active SLP-CCC credential
  • Valid Maryland SLP license
  • Prior experience in Maryland schools is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of teletherapy platforms, if remote work is desired
  • Ability to support a diverse elementary caseload (PreK-5th)
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Your role will include:

  • Providing direct and consultative SLP services to meet student IEP needs
  • Delivering engaging sessions that strengthen receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language skills
  • Conducting assessments and progress monitoring to inform intervention plans
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff to promote academic and social success
  • Maintaining thorough and compliant documentation
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and IEP development
