School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Centreville, Maryland

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain prior to starting)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience providing SLP services in a schools or pediatric setting
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and educational staff
• Ability to develop individualized treatment and intervention plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Provide direct therapy sessions in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic achievement
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Participate in and contribute to student support meetings, IEP meetings, and ongoing planning
