Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active or eligible licensure as approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience with pediatric or school-aged populations is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capacity to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for students exhibiting speech and language difficulties
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions focusing on each student’s unique communication goals
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all evaluations, services, and progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and staff to coordinate seamless care
  • Educate and engage families, empowering them to support student growth
  • Remain current with best practices and state educational guidelines
