Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and support staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings, sharing measurable goals and student progress
  • Provide counseling, guidance, and advocacy for students and their families regarding communication needs
  • Deliver support in both group and one-on-one settings
