Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution
  • California SLP state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Either SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials accepted
  • Previous experience with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Proficiency with assessment tools, documentation, and IEPs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to elementary school students
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain thorough records
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in team meetings and consulting with educators on classroom strategies
  • Track student progress and adapt intervention plans as needed
